Noelia’s Three Words To Describe Her Trip:

Adventurous, Breathtaking, Magical!

Heard about it from…

From: Karen! We used to kickbox together.

Reason for getting “Crazy”

It’s what I do! I’m an adventure coordinator.

Before getting “Crazy”

I had never been to Costa Rica before and didn’t know what to expect. I had always travelled with my family in the past so I was up for anything.

Paula (left), Karen (middle) and Noelia go crazy over the incredible view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

After getting “Crazy”

I thought I was going to be nervous about the trip, but once we arrived, I didn’t feel nervous at all. I am proud of myself and I am thrilled to have had the experience. I am excited that soon, others will be able to have Crazy Ventures too.

The first day we visited the DOKA coffee plantation. It was a blast!

Here's  Noelia zip-lining through the Costa Rican rainforest. Yeehaw! I have been wanting to do this for a while, and it was my favorite part of the trip.

On the hike up Miro mountain, we saw breathtaking views of Jaco Beach.

On our way to the top of Miro Mountain!

This is the view from the Tarcoles River bridge. A dangerous place to fall into!

Craziest thing about the trip

Crossing the hanging bridge, which we did after rock climbing. It didn’t cross my mind that I was scared to walk on this bridge, and when I got up there I even felt a little more relaxed, so I started walking. When I was six steps in, I started to feel quite anxious and my legs wouldn’t move!  “Oh NO!” I said out loud. “I don’t think I can do this!” I was frozen.

Then I said to myself, “Well, you're here! No way back!” I focused and slowly started walking again. The guide waiting on the other side for me reminded me that the faster I walked, the faster I would be done!

Here I am on the hanging bridge, moving ever so slowly. My legs moved as fast as they could considering how nervous I was. When I got to the end I was so excited and felt very proud of myself for pushing past my fear and getting where I needed to be. Best feeling of accomplishment!

Another incredible view from atop one of the zip-line platforms.

Should others get crazy?

Absolutely! You never know what different experiences will bring to your life. Pura vida!!

Registration is open for our next trip to Costa Rica.  Come on the Journey.
